Small Clubs and International Projects
Three things usually deter smaller clubs from participating In international activities:
- Lack of Funds
- Inexperience with Granting Processes
- Finding Suitable Projects
The District International Service Committee has set up a group of advisors to help with project setup.
We are now very pleased to announce that the District Board has approved a change to the District Granting rules that will allow small clubs to work together, making funding less of a challenge.
An online meeting will be hosted on September 30 at 7:00 pm (new date due to project conflicts). Click here to register
- Why Participate in International Projects
- Small Clubs Working Together and New District Granting Rules
- Sample Projects of Possible Interest
- Resources Available to Help
We would encourage all clubs to have representatives attend, not just smaller clubs. Larger clubs can often ensure the continuation of great initiatives by having other clubs take a leadership role in areas where they have worked.
