Established in 2008, the Foothills Country Hospice is located north of Okotoks on a beautiful 8-acre location. The 8-bed facility provides end-of-life compassionate medical and nursing Palliative Care for residents in Southern Alberta. The Hospice is in the process of a much-needed 1.5 million dollar expansion to double capacity.
The Rotary Clubs of High River and Okotoks have committed to assist the hospice in attaining this goal. Rotary is a worldwide organization that promotes Education and Humanitarian service with its 1.2 million members in 200 countries.
