Possibilities

RYPEN supports youth to find their voice, take leadership, explore other leadership opportunities, and make a difference in their community. All camp leaders are previous attendees, inspired by their camp experiences to continue their journey as growing leaders. You and your Club make that possible.

RYPEN is ideal for teenagers looking to grow, develop their leadership skills, expand their comfort zone, and try out a new adventure. Participants must be between 13 and 17 years old when the camp happens, May 5 - 8, 2023.

When considering someone - maybe yourself? - as a participant, consider whether this person demonstrates perseverance, courage and resourcefulness. Academic standing should not be the deciding factor. Any young person that would benefit from developing their skills and confidence is welcome
Become a Sponsor

Sponsor a participant for $600, which includes all meals, accommodation, and program materials.

Identify camp participants. You can register and specify participants or simply sponsor a spot.

If you identify participants, you also provide transportation to and from the RYPEN camp. This is your chance to connect directly. Drop-off at the camp is no later than 3:30 pm Friday, and pick-up is Monday at 11:00 am. Typically there is a bus to and from Calgary (at an extra fee of $85 per participant).

Deadlines: Please confirm your commitments by March 31. This camp does fill up quickly - do not delay. We HIGHLY recommend that Clubs begin their search for students NOW! Consider connecting with local schools or Interact Clubs. Participants fill in a waiver form as a last step before the camp.
