  • Sponsorship Team is looking for Rotarians from across the District with a knack for engaging businesses in sponsorship opportunities. To join this dynamic group, please reach out to Catherine Brownlee at catherine@cbibusiness.ca.
  • Communication and Outreach Subcommittee (Sponsorship) seeks volunteers to manage communication and work with sponsors as requested by the sub-committee: Sponsorship.
    • Tasks to be assigned on a weekly basis in writing (not daily) and completed in a timely manner. Most tasks will be completed remotely. Access to a computer and phone is required.
    • Goal: To provide first-class stewardship for those sponsors supporting RI Convention 2025 by assisting the sub-committee: Sponsorship.
    • Chair - Kurt Allan Schurer
    • Current members – Henry Dunfield, Bill Lawless, Marvin PawlivskMembers will have access to the sponsorship target list, and the opportunity to be a steward of relationships where they have an existing relationship with a sponsor target, if they desire.
    • Currently seeking six additional members, including one or two individuals willing to provide back-up support due to sub-committee members having to deal with other priorities on a periodic-basis. Alternatively, we might develop a buddy system to deal with these situations.
    • Time commitment required:
    • 1 Teams/zoom meeting weekly, 30 – 60 minutes
    • Completion of assigned tasks on weekly basis. Estimated 30 – 90 minutes/week
  • Community Engagement Sub-Committee (Sponsorship)
    Looking for people who are excited about building awareness and helping make this convention outstanding, with the focus being on:
    • building awareness of the RI Convention 2025
    • helping identify sponsors to provide an amazing experience for convention delegates, and leave a legacy for Rotary
    • Supporting local business by ensuring they are ready to realize the huge economic benefits available to them with their participation.
    • Tourism Calgary has over 1100 members on their app that will promote local bsuiness to delegates and offer them discounts during their stay. 
    • We need to contact these business' (Restuarants, Bars, Atractions, Retail and Arts and Culture and we need your help!
    • Time Commitment -   Approximately 60 - 150 minutes per week
  • Promotions and Marketing is looking for Rotarians interested in being part of the communication strategy, including social media management, website development, newsletter creation, message drafting, and language translation.
