ACT FAST!
All the beer must go!
Our warehouse arrangement to store the overstocked ILA Convention 2025 beer is coming to an end.
Pick up flats of beer for your Club's fundraising events, donate it to your local legion and build a relationship, donate beer (rather than money) to the groups you are working with, so they can sell it and make money for their causes at their fundraising events, auction off beer at your club and keep the proceeds.
The warehouse will be open on Friday or Saturday, September 5 or 6, with a time to be determined.
All the beer must go!
Email the HOC, or text Linda Morris 587-224-5958, with the number of flats you want, and whether you can pick it up Friday and/or Saturday next week (Friday or Saturday), September 5 or 6.
Here is how some of the clubs have taken advantage of the Beer opportunity:
Stampede Park has donated beer to Horton Road, Centennial Legion, for their special events (car show, Chase the Ace, Festival of Pins). All proceeds from the beer sales stay with the legion or support their programs. This has strengthened the relationship between the two groups.
Calgary Millennium Club also wanted to support their local legion - Forest Lawn, and while they did not have the funds to donate, they did take advantage of the HOC Convention 2025 beer and donated a number of flats to sell to support that legion's programs.
Red Deer Clubs have purchased many flats of beer for their members.
Calgary North, Fish Creek, Okotoks, and Canmore purchased flats for their members and/or took flats for fundraising opportunities.
Polio Event - Calgary Clubs plan to sell convention beer at their Polio event, with all proceeds from the sale going to fund the Polio eradication program.
High River has taken advantage of this program, auctioning off beer, donating to their local legion and groups they support for their fundraising efforts. This club has moved 130+ flats of beer with plans for more.
