Rotary Youth Exchange Polarfest

You are invited to Polarfest!

Event details:

• When: December 6 - 8, 2019
• Where: Stettler, Alberta, Canada
• Start time: Please arrive after 6:00PM; dinner at 7:00PM. Transportation for students can be arranged if needed.
• Cost: $200.00 per student. This cost covers everything for the weekend. Students are expected to bring their own spending money for any extras (i.e. souvenirs).

​Registration and payment deadline: November 27, 2019

​​Note: Chaperones and/or drivers are welcome to join. Please register if you will be attending. We can also find you billets if needed. The cost per chaperone is $100.00 which covers Polar Express tickets and meals.

Payment details:

• Payment must be made from the club directly to Rotary District 5360.
  • Send cheques to: 3688 48 Ave NE, Calgary, AB T3J 5C8
  • Please include "RYE - Polarfest" and the student and/or chaperone's name on the memo line

Itinerary:

• Friday:

  • Pizza party, games, and a movie. 
     

• Saturday:

  • Breakfast at 9:00AM; curling in the morning.

  • Swimming/skating (depending on weather) sometime during the weekend.

  • Christmas party at 5:00PM, and leave for the Polar Express Train at 8:00PM. 

​​Note: Please be prepared to participate at the Rotary Christmas party. Perhaps a song or a story as individuals or as a group. 
 

• Sunday:

  • Brunch at 10:00AM and then leave for home. 
     

What to bring:

• Sleeping bag
• Pillow and mattress/foam to sleep on
• Swim attire
• Skates
• Clean shoes
• Warm clothes
• A dessert authentic from your country to share at our Christmas party.
