From Co-location to Collaboration - The Village Square Community Hub Story
On Wednesday, May 16th, join the Community Hubs Collaborative from 5-7pm at the Village Square Community Hub for an evening of inspiration and learning!
The Village Square Leisure Centre is one of seven sites participating in the Community Hubs Initiative – a  partnership between United Way of Calgary and AreaThe City of Calgary, and Rotary to activate community hubs in priority locations across Calgary by 2021. Community Hubs are a key activation strategy of Enough for All,
Calgary’s community-driven poverty reduction strategy.
  •          Experience Village Square’s new Community Living Room
  •          See some great resident-led community projects and meet the residents behind them
  •          Hear how the Hub approach has shifted the way the Village Square partners including Alberta Health Services, Calgary Public Library, Calgary Recreation, and the Parent Link Centre and Heart of the North East Community Resource Centre work together.
Light refreshments will be served. May 16th is also half-price night at the wave pool so bring the family!

Where: Village Square Leisure Centre - 2623 56 St N.E. - Main level Community Living Room (in front of the Library)
