Dear Supporters,

I am writing to inform you of a tragic event that has happened in Gaza.

On November 5th, an Israeli airstrike hit a designated ‘safe zone’, where hundreds of people were living in ShelterBox tents. This camp, established by PARC and its international partners, was meant to be a sanctuary. Instead, it has become a scene of devastation.

People have been killed, trauma has been inflicted, and ShelterBox tents have been destroyed. Hundreds of people are now homeless once again, forced to move from one unsafe place to another. It is clear that nowhere is safe.

For over a year, Gaza has been torn apart by unpredictable and unrelenting conflict, and the need for shelter is overwhelming. The rules of war are clear: all civilians must be protected.

This tragic event has deeply affected us at ShelterBox. But despite the challenges, we remain committed to our response in Gaza. We will continue working with our partners, MAP and PARC, to provide emergency shelter and lifesaving aid to those displaced by the conflict. But we cannot do this alone. We need your help now more than ever.

Thank you for your continued support during these difficult times.
Together, we can make a difference.
