🌍 Our District on the World Stage
The Sun Never Sets in Rotary was initiated by D3232 South India in 2021 as an online 24 hour non-stop cycle of meetings hosted by Rotary Countries/Districts across the world to celebrate Rotary’s Birthday on 23rd February and World Understanding and Peace Day.
What a brilliant idea based on the simple truth that somewhere in the world, at every moment, Rotary is in action.
Our District was invited to submit a 10-minute presentation highlighting our projects and activities. Thanks to the many of you who responded to the call for conference video submissions, we had wonderful material to work with.
I selected featured clubs and projects and from there, Rotarian Rick Castiglione worked his creative magic — carefully weaving in voiceovers, and producing a seamless and compelling 10-minute showcase. Thanks to his technical expertise, our District was proudly represented as part of the hour-long Canada segment.
The program aired on February 23 — Rotary’s birthday — at 2:00 p.m.
