Brown Bear Woman Centre – Thursday, July 7th 3:00 – 7:00

The first event on Jennifer's tour is a powerful opportunity to bring our Rotary community together at the Brown Bear Woman center on Tsuu T'ina will feature some of the oldest traditions this nation has to offer. Chief Whitney will welcome RI President Jennifer Jones and continue on the journey of truth and reconciliation. This event is interactive with events like Tipi building and painting, traditional storytelling, dance and traditional foods.
 
 

Participate in The Stampede Parade – Friday, July 8th 6:00 am to 1:00 pm

There are 50 slots in total, and we would like to represent as many Rotary clubs as possible in the parade. We are looking for one dedicated member of your Rotary club to participate. 
 
 

Move for Polio Walk for Mental Health and Wellness Friday, July 8th 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

This event will offer lots of opportunities to meet Jennifer Jones and participate in engaging events with her and with the Umoja Community Mosaic | Enriching Communities provides programs like "Soccer without Boundaries", with a motto, "Everyone is welcome". This afternoon will be filled with activities; including soccer, mini-games, including the Launch of Move for Polio in Calgary. Calgary East Rotary Club will be cooking up Stampede Burgers to fill out the day.
