The final stage includes the installation of boulders with peace quote signage, a sign for the dedication of the garden, and landscaping of the garden area.
The funding for this project came primarily from a District grant. There were however two display signs that were not included in the District grant request. Terry suggested, and the team agreed, that we also need to include a dedication sign and a sign explaining the languages chosen for the pole. Because these two signs were not included in the District grant request, there is a shortfall in the funding needed to complete the work. While we do not have an exact amount for the two signs, we know they will be in the neighborhood of $3000-$4000 for both.

To help cover the shortfall we are issuing a Challenge to all four districts, D5360, D5370, D5390, and D5080, involved with the WGIPPA. We want each district to raise $500 to offset the projected shortfall. I have included the district governors in this email so that they will be aware of the challenge and hopefully be able to assist us.  I have included some verbiage below that you can use when seeking donations.  A link to the donation portal is also included.

Please consider making a donation to help defray the remaining costs. All donations can be made using the WGIPPA Peace Garden donation site. All donations will be used to fully fund the project. Our payment portal does not charge fees for donations. No credit card service or bank ACH fees will be charged for this donation.  You can follow this link to make a donation, https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/11e2aff4-22ea-4b32-ae62-09fef21b596b

I have included some photos of the Garden, a video with Terry Allen and also a request for donation document. These may also be used when seeking donations.
