ISADORA BRUM NESI: UPDATE ON HER NGSE PROGRAM
Isadora arrived in Canada from Brazil on Saturday, 17 January, and has immersed herself in her 20-day program in Medicine Hat!
Rotary Club of Medicine Hat President Milan and Almira Vujovic hosted a lunch at which Isa met key people in Medicine Hat.
For the vocational part of her program, Isa has spent time at the YMCA and the Salta Gymnastics Club.
For fun, she has even taken a pole dancing class!
The service part of her program has been focused on helping in the Y Treasure Thrift Store and the Teen Drop-in at the Y.
This coming week, Isa will spend afternoons at the Redcliff Youth Centre, learning about how this Centre operates and sharing her physical education knowledge and skills with the staff, volunteers and young people.
