DISTRICT 5360 NEW GENERATIONS SERVICE EXCHANGE PROGRAM: CAN YOU HELP?

In October and November this year, we will have the pleasure of four New Generations Service Exchange participants in our District, coming from Italy and Brazil.

We are looking for host families and host Rotary Clubs in Lethbridge and Calgary in October and November this year.

While on the NGSE program, these young adults enjoy exposure to their chosen vocation, to Rotary and Rotary humanitarian service, cultural exchange, and fun!
Those who have hosted in the past attest to how enriching the experience of hosting these carefully selected young adults can be. Friendships are formed for life.

Victor is a 30-year-old Brazilian civil engineer who will spend a few weeks in Lethbridge in October, where Rotarian Bill Mains is organizing exposure to the engineering field. We seek additional engineering shadowing opportunities for Victor in other cities, including Calgary.

Julia (27 years) and Giovanna (23 years) are delightful Italians who will be volunteering in Calgary at the ProBono Law Alberta office. Julia is a law graduate, and Giovanna has an MBA in Communication and Social Media.

Elia (27 years old) is a working Italian University of Trento student studying Economics. He will be in Calgary, placed at UPcomer Capital Venture.

So, in summary, we are looking for:
  • Civil engineering shadowing opportunities for Victor
  • Calgarian host families for Julia, Giovanna and Elia between 7 October and 9 November, for whatever period of time the family can manage – even just two weeks!
You will find it a life-changing experience!
