The Rotary Club of Urban Spirits and Canadian Blood Services are so excited to be forming the first annual Rotary Lifeline challenge! The Rotary chapters from Innisfail, Stettler, Lacombe and Red Deer are encouraged to come together to reach a united goal 100 blood donations in 2021. This can be done through either individually booked appointments or through team donations.
The process to register your donation for the Rotary Clubs of Central Alberta Rotary Lifeline 2021 challenge is broken down below.
FIRST TIME DONORS START HERE: Any first-time donors won't be able to register until they complete their first blood donation and receive their donor ID in the mail. If you don't have a Donor Number and/or Canada Blood Services account, please do that. Once you get your number/card, you can move on to the next steps to join our Rotary Lifeline 2021 Challenge!

THOSE WITH A CANADIAN BLOOD SERVICES CARD/DONOR NUMBER: In order for us to properly track Rotarians' donations, participating members must register their donation through the PFL system. This simple, one-time process links your personal CBS account to the Rotary partnership account. This is to ensure your donations throughout the year count towards our pledge of 100 donations!
This is a one-time process that should take no more than 2 minutes to complete.

You may be asked to first log in to your CBS account- please log in or create an account before proceeding
Your ‘team champion’ is Brenda Sargeant of the Urban Spirits Rotary Club. Click either ‘No’ or ‘Yes’ to share your contact information (this is not shared with anyone outside of the organization. This is strictly for your Rotary team champion to send you any important updates regarding Rotary Lifeline 2021)
3. Click ‘Join’
4. You are now registered under the Rotary Lifeline 2021 challenge! Our system is now able to recognize which blood donations are from a Central Alberta Rotarian.
5. As you can see below, you are able to register your donation under multiple PFL accounts to show your support to your favourite local organizations. This process can also be done on the GiveBlood app by clicking the Partners tab on the bottom right of the screen and then tapping the on the 3 figures in top right to join a team. Search to add (REMEMBER- our group is Rotary Clubs of Central Alberta)
