2026 Western Canadian Blind Golf Championships
Location: Wolf Creek Golf Resort — Ponoka, Alberta
Dates: July 6–10, 2026

This championship brings together blind and low-vision golfers from across the Western provinces, the rest of Canada, and, in some years, international competitors. They are joined by their coaches/guides and families. We expect more than 90 participants and family members to attend, making this event not only a competitive sporting championship but also a celebration of community, inclusion, and resilience.
Blind golf is played under the Rules of Golf, with accommodations and the support of a sighted coach/guide. Events like this reduce barriers to sport and foster confidence, connection, and belonging—benefits that have a meaningful impact on both mental and physical well-being.

How Rotary Can Help

We are seeking Rotary support to help reduce participation barriers and offset key costs, including:

  • Hole Sponsor – $250
    Hole sign recognition, sponsor listing, social media thank-you, and post-event impact update
  • Bronze – $500
    Includes Hole Sponsor benefits plus enhanced recognition, verbal thank-you, and optional Rotary banner display
  • Silver – $1,000
    Includes Bronze benefits plus featured signage, a dedicated social post, two awards dinner tickets, and the option to present an award
  • Gold – $2,500
    Includes Silver benefits plus top-tier signage, an optional 60–90 second speaking opportunity, four awards dinner tickets, and a featured post-event recap
  • In-Kind Sponsorship (value $250+)
    Items such as prizes, transportation from Edmonton International Airport (YEG) to the Deerfoot Inn & Casino, printing, snacks/water, shirts, and golf ball spotters. In-kind sponsors are recognized as Hole Sponsors.
