District Grants Seminars will be held in the following locations. Please ensure that a Club Member is in attendance to Qualify for District Grant Funding.
It's a great idea to complete an Event poster for general distribution.
A poster in PDF format that displays the 5-Ws of information is a great way to announce event details.
Provide the ticket purchase link separately so the poster can be linked within the news article.
In lieu of marketing materials, please provide a completed sample layout in a word document.
If your event does not have a marketing team and you are doing it all, check out sample posters provided by Rotary/BrandCenter/Materials/Event Resources that make your event easier to promote.
Check out the Event Planning Guide in the Branding Centre at Rotary.org to help make your event a total success.
You’re Invited to Join Us – Building Homes in El Salvador
March 18th – 26th, 2017
** 6 more spaces available **
9 Rotarians/spouses from the Rotary Clubs of Airdrie, Cochrane and Brooks are joining with Shelter Canada, a Rotary recognised builder, to continue their good work in building homes for El Salvadorans. There’s room for 15 people.
Shelter Canada has been taking groups on builds for 20 years and has an in-country team who are well established on the ground. The $33,000 to build 10 more homes is already financed by the Rotary clubs, with the assistance of approved District 5360 Grants.
Your commitment – to bring a smile and a willingness to work with the locals, while doing good in the world.
$2200/person, fully tax deductible, includes flights, accommodations and meals. $1000 deposit due September 30, 2016. Please note: you MUST fly in, and out, of El Salvador with the group. Absolutely NO other side travel before or after is allowed according to CRA rules.
Our next pre-trip group meeting is Tuesday, September 20th @ 7pm – we’d love for you to join us to learn about the project and meet the team.
Please email Randy Smith, International Director, RC Airdrie or call 403-478-8164
