RYPEN South Fall Camp, Sep 21-24, SABC
RYPEN, September 21-24, 2017

The Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment or RYPEN is a Rotary sponsored District Youth Service program. Students, from 13 - 17 years of age, from across District 5360 attend a weekend long camp designed at developing their potential through a mixture of lecture style sessions and adventure-based learning.
Its aim is to communicate to young people a series of ideas, problems and social experiences which will assist them in forming their own values and moral standards.  A program of thought-provoking speakers, social situations, and personal challenges is offered.

We suggest that your school or youth clubs are contacted prior to the end of this school year in order to meet the early September registration deadlines.

Stampede Parade Breakfast, Fri Jul 7, Calgary West
The Calgary West Rotary Club invites you to add our Stampede Gourmet breakfast to the mix of your Canada 150 celebrations. What better way to celebrate Canada than connecting with Calgary Stampede visitors from around the world. If you haven’t been to our breakfast, that experience alone is worth the price of admission. Our breakfast is often their first stop in Canada.

Check out the ad for details and the line up – gourmet food (lots of it), reserved bleacher seating right on the parade route, and live music. Yes! It’s worth being there just to watch PDG Steve Rickard cook eggs!!

Here is the back story. We are usually sold out at 1,500 tickets by the end of May. Two companies which made major ticket purchases in the recent past were unable to do so this year. That means we have room for you and your group! Come on along. Be part or the Rotary fun and Rotary Action.
