Chestermere's 1st Rundraiser - Amazing Race Style!!

 

Rotary’s Amazing Race allows competitors to experience the thrill and excitement of an Amazing Race on a smaller scale. Teams of 4 will race around Chestermere deciphering clues and puzzles and navigating your way through challenges, relying on teamwork to race against the clock for a chance to win many fabulous prizes, including a chance at cash prizes of $1,000, $500 or $250 for the top 3 teams. 

 

Competitors of all ages and fitness levels are welcome, and it would be great to have you participate in the race.  Not only will you be participating in a unique and amazing adventure, you will also be proudly supporting the Rotary Club of Chestermere. 

 

To be eligible to participate, each team must fundraise a minimum of $250 prior to the September 13^th deadline. The 28 teams raising the most funds will secure a spot in Rotary’s Amazing Race and there will be 2 wildcard entries drawn at random.  All participating teams will be contacted via email by noon on Monday September 15. If your team did not make the cut this year, you will have all donations collected by your team refunded within 48 hours.

 

Rotary’s Amazing Race will be held on Saturday, September 20^th, 2014

8:30 - 9:00am:  Check-In & Registration at John Peake Memorial Park (100 John Morris Way)

9:00am – 12 noon:  The Amazing Race will take place at several top secret locations across the Town of Chestermere

12:00noon – 1pm:  Award Presentation & Wind-Up Barbeque Lunch at CUI (320 West Creek Drive)
